goings on....
I have a lot to say, but no words. I keep putting off getting things down hoping the words will come.
I've had a lot on my mind. Lots of family things going on. Travis's brother is very ill and we hope we're dealing witht he right issue with what he has going on. If not it can only end badly. Travis is having surgery next week. That's never a good thing. It should be fairly routine, but it's just really scary anytimeyou deal with being put under a general anasthetic. It's just out-patient surgery for something relatively minor, but it's been a lot to deal with. I've had to juggle some school work so I can take the day to just be with him. My professors have been very easy to work with in this matter. That is a blessing as I have a quiz scheduled for that day.
School is going pretty well. I wish I was doing better, but I have 2 A's, 2 B's and a C in French so far. I've love to bring that C up to a B, but I'm not going to hold my breath on that one. I'm working on art projects left and right. Fall break was nice. I should have done more, but I just flat out didn't feel like it. I talked to a guy about some part time work. I'm going to talk to my accountant later this week about getting set up as a corportation to do freelance work. Then this guy and I are going to talk hard cash. He seemed pretty impressed with my skill set. I figured I'd be there 30 minutes tops talking to him. I was there 2 hours. He was just a really easy person to talk to. We talked about many more things that just the job. We'll have to see where that goes.
