it's always something....
So I made the payment on my tuition yesterday which of course means I'm down to almost nothing in the bank account again. *sigh*
I called to touch base about the part time work yesterday but had to leave a message and didn't get a call back. I think I'm being avoided. They're like that though. I'm guessing it won't work out. I guess that's all for the best. I've been really busy with just classes and it's been nice to be home some, and to have my weekends to myself instead of catching up on school work I should have been doing but I was working.
Anyway, We came to the beach this weekend for a nice relaxing time. We got half way here and the speedometer dropped to zero. No this isn't becasue we randomly hit something and came to a crashing hault. (That would have been *really* bad.) We're still speeding down the highway between 75 and 80 mph. Something broke. Lovely. Travis is off to the auto parts store to get some kind of lubrication and then he's going to take the dash apart. Let's all hope that it's just a cable or something that has worked it's way lose. If the part is broken it's just a $60 piece, but I'd like to not have to pay that if I don't have to.
