I don't know if it's lj or my e-mail, but I've only been receiving notification for some of the comments on my posts. So if I've been slow replying, it's because I didn't know the comments were there. Sorry! I'm not ignoring anyone.
So King William has very eclectic taste in music. When he puts his ipod in the docking station and hits "shuffle", you don't know what you're going to hear next. At first I found it disconcerting to go from Eminem to Blondie to the Clash to Elivs to Hank Snow, but it does make each song stand out. Anyway, we've been debating who was the better crooner TV guest star (back when variety shows had variety!) - Andy Williams or Perry Como. Bill's firmly in the team Andy camp, although I have a soft spot for Perry.
The other day I came across this video of Simon and Garfunkle and Andy Williams singing Scarborough Fair. What voices! Give it a listen. It's a real treat.
