I don't know if I'd enjoy a midnight show since I'm not that fond of crowds. I'm sure you'll enjoy it on Sunday.

Crisp, Cool, sunny weather sounds great!

LOL - you can just hear the whole magazine industry give a sigh of relief now that a royal wedding is on. It will be interesting to see how this wedding contrasts with Charles and Diana's (well they actually know each other and are the same age - two pluses!). I feel old since I remember it well . . .

Oh, I missed that nuance of "informed" rather than asked permission. I think the Queen did learn something from all of those divorces of her children. (Well, Edward's hanging in there)

Thank you so much for the link to the DH review. I need to know the huge differences, so I won't be to disappointed. It seems like it'll be a good movie, as long as I'm able to ignore the Hermione-overload.

I like to go in, braced for certain things (like Hermione overload). *nods* If I know not to look for Harry mooning over Ginny's dot on the map, then I won't miss it.

I'd hardly call William a minor royal... but that's beside the point. It'll cheer everyone up. :)

Oh, no - William is going to be King - that's as big as it gets. I meant the minor royals - like Canada's own Autumn what's-her-name who married Peter (Anne's son). The last I heard the happy couple had a baby on the way - I'll never know it's name, see pictures of the nursery or who gave what to the little dear unless I pick up a copy of Hello!Canada. I do need to stay in the loop. :)

Oh yes! I do like the name 'Autumn', actually. It was the name of my longest-living cat. Also, Prince Andrew was going to marry a Canadian, I think but then they veto'd it because some topless pictures showed up. Bet they wish they'd been a bit more lenient. *snark*

I'm glad you aren't waterlogged then *nods*

I'm taking #2daughter to see the midday show on Friday as a special mummy/daughter day activity.

Don't renew your subscription just catch up with it all online. Hello has an excellent royalty section online (and you save money)

Good idea! I'll do that until I can get my paper copy. (I pass them on to my best friend in the States - then her mother gets them. You can't get Hello in the States)

If this amount of rain had occured in the spring, it would have been devastating. All of the lakes were low this summer, so the water had plenty of places to go before it got to flood stage. We were lucky.

You should try an Australian Christmas. I have been wished the compliments of the season in October. I was hard put not to snarl - just because they've put the Christmas decorations up in the shops, doesn't mean it's actually Christmas!

We're going to see the film on Sunday. Sarah is having lunch with some friends at her favourite restaurant (I have to go to pay but I'm pretending I don't know them) and then we will go to IMAX to see it. A friend of mine is meeting us there and she and I will sit at the back whilst her kids, Sarah and her froends will sit a long way away from us! It's a slightly delayed 16th birthday celebration.

So Hello! is solely produced in countries with a constitutional monarchy. Good republics don't need the royal gossip.

LOL - I am Scrouge in October too!

Sunday sounds like a fun day out for Sarah and for you. I'm going to two hockey games. *rolls eyes*

I think Hello is missing out on the US market! The revolution was long ago and our Hollywood "royalty" leaves a lot to be desired.
