Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy!

So tonight was the Big & Rich concert at the IL State fair, and I had to work, plus I didn't get tickets, seeing as how in the last week, I saw Montgomery Gentry and the American Idol tour, plus on Sunday we're going to see Carrie Underwood. So I figured no biggie, I'd just head to the party Aren was at and hang out for a while after work. Boy, was I wrong.

I got off, headed out to my car, and saw the Big & Rich equipment trucks drive by, and thought "Man, how cool would it be to follow them and get an autograph!" Of course, I remembered then that I was a responsible adult and had to go pick Aren up from work. So I headed through town (avoiding fair traffic), and end up behind two charter buses hauling trailers. As they were going slow, I was able to catch up to them and saw their license plates said Tennessee, so I figured maybe, hey, it's Big & Rich! hahaha yeah right. But they pulled up to the Hilton hotel, and there was a small group of people gathered (I mean like 5 people). SO I stopped, and asked them who the buses belonged to. Guess who? Yep...BIG & RICH! So I park, waited like 5 or 10 minutes, and a group of girls came around the corner, followed by the guys! They signed autographs for a couple minutes, and were more than glad to sign my....check stub! I'd gotten paid right before I left work, and ended up getting them to sign it! I won't bore anyone with the details, but they're genuine people, who appreciate hard-working people. They even invited me out with them, but I told them I had to pick Aren up, and then I had to open the next day, and they were really cool, said next time they're in town look them up at the Hilton. So yeah, awesome night!

That's it, folks! How cool is that?! Anyway, I'm off to bed. Have a good one!
