More than once I've gone to the Thanksgiving buffet at Pere Marquette State Park just up by Grafton, IL. The drive along the river is nice and things are pretty quiet that time of year.

I don't think so, but you can call and ask them about their buffet. It's pretty extensive as I recall. Lots of Thanksgiving foods plus omelettes and seafood and desert. All the usual brunch kinds of things.

My significant other and I have lunched at Gokul several times on Thanksgiving. It's a vegetarian Indian food place on Page just east of Lindbergh.
We find that it is a nice way to start the feast early, as our usual family celebrations happen in the evening.

Another nice place would be La Bonne Bouchee on Olive just west of 270. French cafe and bakery, and the food is amazing. I believe that they are open on Thanksgiving, but you might need reservations. (For Easter reservations are required, so I assume the same for other holidays.)

Thank you! I've not been to either but i looooove indian food. La Bonne Bouchee sounds lovely but I couldn't find anything online about Thanksgiving. I might give them a call. Thanks again! I'm gaining five lbs, either way.

I know Mimi's Cafe is open on Thanksgiving. I actually went there for Easter last year.

That's awesome. I used to work in C-field and used to eat at Mimi's all the time. In fact I was just telling someone how much i miss them. Thanks! That'd be perfect!
