Martina was not the kind to really go out and date. Tony went out, and hung out with his friends, and might have actually had a girlfriend. Not that Martina noticed or cared. Or that they talked much about such things. But when she told her young partner that she had dinner plans in London, he was all too happy to accomodate her. She couldn't help but smile because it meant that he really did care about her, and as much as she hated to admit it, she cared about him too. He was a good kid, she decided.

She had texted Matt with the address of a place down near the Victoria Embankment and the Playhouse Theatre, not too busy but not too boring either. She went there now and then when she was in town. In fact, she beat him there, and when he got there she'd be nursing her drink and enjoying the fireplace. Yes, there was a fireplace. This was good. Here went nothing...
