No subject.
No mail yet. The dogs would have barked. Its cold today. Really cold. I picked Scott up at work this morning and my hands were freezing just touching the steering wheel. There was a skim of ice on the road, treacherous because people don't pay attention to the shiny spots being ice. I don't know what they are thinking. Especially the ones in SUV's that think oh, I can do anything, I have an SUV. Yeah, dumb head, you can plow on through, but you slide just like the rest of us, and your vehicle will cause more damage to someone else when you hit them ! Sorry, thats a huge problem with me. My safety means nothing to someone else, until they kill me and don't want to sit in jail for it ! My nephews friend was killed right in front of him a few months ago, hit by a car that should have seen him. His parent's felt the woman paid enough, I don't know if I could have been that big a person. Rest in peace Anth ! I didn't know him, but I know my nephew, and I know how bad he feels about his friends death. So if I am on my soap box about if you can't drive safely for yourself, think of someone else, so be it ! I don't know how I got here from whence I started, but obviously I was supposed to say it.
