Tragedy strikes our fish tank

I came home from errands early this afternoon to my sons' exclamations about how mad Dad was going to be at himself tonight. I followed his voice to the dining room where he and his brother are standing staring into the aquarium with looks of shock and bewilderment. Apparently one of the live rocks we bought a while back or one of the fish itself had parasites. Carnivorous worms. They had multiplied and eaten the fish over night. The fish were fine yesterday, or so we thought and now they are gone. The rocks themselves cost around $500 and took us a few months to purchase all of them. The fish were probably about $200. We still have a star fish, and one crab, but I am betting they won't survive until morning. It's going to be a lot of clean up, and a lot of $'s to get the 75 gallon salt water aquarium back up and running. It was so sad seeing my beauties resting at the bottom of the tank, their beautiful colors faded to gray. We had a yellow tang, two Nemo type fish, two electric blue colored fish which name I can't remember and a few others as well. All in all about 11 fish, some crabs the live rock and the star. Such a bummer.
