Well, I called the dentist and I have an appt. for noon. I hope I don't have to get this tooth pulled. Wish me luck. If I do, I am going to have them knock me out. I seriously do NOT need any stress today.

I just saw this post, so I guess you've already been to the dentist. I hope it went well. Dentists bring out the baby in me! Unfortunately, I've had to have tons of dental work done, so I feel your pain. I've prayed that whatever you ended up having done isn't causing you too much discomfort and will heal quickly.

oh forgot to say before, he did nothing because of the infection I have an appt. for the 19th. Its the earliest either of us could do it. Root canal, but he promises no pain this time. Last time, the doc didn't get the novacaine to work, and hit the nerve as it was wearing off. I saw white, literally and felt hot searing pain. It sucked big time !

OoooOOoooo Ali ... Root Canals ALWAYS get me tense ... but the last TWO have been painless and quick. I need another one ... and I keep putting it off .... even though I KNOW it will be painless. I actually was referred to a SPECIALIST that does root canals ... he's young, cute ... and respectful!!! Want to come to Buffalo?

I have a great new doctor. He insists he will take very good care of me. I have an appt. for the 19th and antibiotics if I need them. The pain killers made me really stupid. I can't understand how anyone could like the high they give you. Not for me thanks ! The infection must be next to gone, because I haven't had any pain since Saturday afternoon. Luckily I remembered to take them away with me !

I guess it depends on what pain killers you have .... mine don't make me high ... just happy to have some relief (back)

vicodin. And it doesn't really matter what it is, if it is a narcotic, it makes me loopy. I don't know why, but I inherited this from my mother who had chronic nerve pain.
