Today was a LONG day at work. It was extremely slow, we had a redo that had absolutely NOTHING wrong with her hair, and I had Jen blow it out for her to show her how to style it. Jen, decided to razor it a bit, and a bit ended up ALL over. It was a nice even cut, but the woman was really mad. I wondered why she didn't tell Jen to stop ? Instead, she wanted more free from us, and she had already gotten a free blow out, and a coupon for a free hair cut. She was acting so irrational I realized she was your typical user that goes around looking for hand outs. My boss told me to give her a free product of her choice, and she insisted all she used was hairspay. I gave her a fourteen dollar bottle of hair spray and it still wasn't enough to keep her from carrying on. She was old enough to be ashamed of herself, and went on about how she knew she shouldn't have come there. I told her I was "sorry she felt that way" and she had nothing left to say. She skeedaddled with her free product, free haircut and blowout, and probably will come back and request me later on. If she pulls it again I will be on to it. Unfortunately, the company I work for will refund anyone that has the receipt, or is in our computer. Oh well, their loss NOT mine. I was prepared for something like this, and luckily I have lots of experience with her type, and the like. I think I handled it well with apologies, and an offer to fix her up myself next time. I kept my cool, but when I went to the break room afterward, I had to let out a sigh of relief that it was OVER, and LOL about it.

I have so much to do tomorrow. I don't even want to take time out for my meeting, but I know I should go. I know I could use it. I also like seeing my friends, and will probably run to the mall afterwards to look for shoes. I still think $65 for a pair of "clarks" shoes is too much. I mean, what if they too, don't work for me? Shoes are NON-returnable ! Oh well. We shall see what I decide tomorrow.

Hope you all are having a nice relaxing Friday evening.

Hugs,

Aly
