(no subject)
I'm tired. Too tired. Too tired to be up right now.
I need a shower after bathing Patch. I would have taken pictures, but that would have been a mess for my new camera. She tends to shake at the worst times. Today she was better than most. I have been promising her a bath since Thursday. Yes, she loves a bath. She just hates that she can't be on the furniture afterwards. And I like to wait until she has been out for the last time at night. She really stunk today. I felt bad for her, and ME ! Ick. I think she is just old. You know how old people smell sometimes? Their B.O. is worse than younger B.O. some how? Anyways, I mentioned to my hubby that I needed to bath her, and that was it. She started giving me the look. Like she knew I had been promising for days and was holding me to it. So I told her to go to the tub. She went upstairs and jumped right in. I used some special shampoo that whitens and deodorizes. Later in the the spring both dogs will also get a flea shampoo, and a flea treatment. They have NEVER had them, but I am diligent. My son and I swell up when we get bit by fleas, so I make SURE we don't get them. I know this from a dog we had when he was small. We had welts all over us. It was insane.
So work was easy today. Janice and I got out at 4:00. I think I may give up working Sundays for the hospital once I get used to the salon. They cut me .50 on the hour because I am not available enough. And I don't want it too look bad in case I want to go for management either. I am still out on that one. But its nice to know I can try. Told Janice I was probably going to quit come April. She is a little bummed. Said she will miss me. We get along so well. We are a lot alike and then very different too. But alike in the best of ways and different in the same sorts of ways. We could stay good friends. I hope so.
I got some new pants and shirts for work. I still need shoes. Comfy ones, like clarks or something similar. I also need a blow dryer. Mine is ancient. I have had it since I was in HS ! Now, no smart cracks ! LOL. Actually it was at my dad's and when he passed, I brought it home since my GOOD dryer that was $40 died on me after three months ! LOL. See, they just don't make em like they used to do. And it was probably (the old one) made in America too !
So, I'm off to bed now. I will stop in tomorrow night.
