Wednesday, a boring day.
Hello everyone out there in journal land. Ohhh man.. that was gay. Okay, lemme think. What's new. First, band news. I have been goin' to Chris's house, and showing him my new song, and he came up with parts for it. Then we played it with Sean for 2 days, and he's got his drum parts to to it. Manny will be back this Friday, and then I will show him how it goes. It already sounds like one of the best songs I've ever made. Anytime I heard other bands, I'd feel intimidated...but this song is it! It's the emocore song I've been trying to make for awhile. This is my strongest song. I titled it "Everythings Falling Apart" I ended up getting a phone call from our producer friend, and I mentioned the song to him, and he was quick to ask me if I wanted to record it. So... we'll all be back in the studio this Saturday to record this song on the "demo" before he leaves for Japan to play some gigs. 8 songs, on a demo? It's no longer a demo! We have a CD. Crazy. We jumped a few steps.
So far, out of the 15 tickets that each of us got in the band (15x4=60) I have about 6 left. I STILL NEED TO SELL MORE, so if you'd like to see my band play, tell me! Sean is complaining that he can't sell all of his 10. (We only have him 10, not 15, because we knew he was going to have the most trouble selling...which makes no sense.. he's the one in high school). Anyway, I'm just hoping the show will be a good one, with a decent crowd. Here's a plug: September 18th (Thursday) at 11:45PM at the Whiskey in Hollywood.
I'm going to finally be getting my new guitar next week. I'm excited! Here's a picture of it:

I want to get it in Ebony, but I'll be stuck with the Cherry color until guitar center's order comes in. I should have it for the Whiskey show.
My new screen name is Bleeding Theory, and so is my email (bleedingtheory@hotmail.com) and people seem to love it. I think it sounds like the coolest band name... but, Persuasion Outline is staying. Too much work to change it completley, plus Bleeding Theory ... that name doesn't fit our style.
Today, I have crap to do. Crap, as in nothing. I have nothing to do. I could play more PS2 (which I will do very soon) but I'm starting to feel like I'm too much of a nerd. Maybe I am one, deep down, and no one told me. Fuckers!
What else was there to say? Oh yeah, Lucas is leaving for Santa Barbra soon. That sucks much. Eventually, most of the people I know right now, will all be gone someday, living their lives. Where will I be? Hopefully where I want to be. It was John Lennon who said, "There's no where you can be, that isn't where you're meant to be" which is a great line.
So what I have planned for today... it's 3:21PM, and Rancid is on TV. "She's not the one coming back for you, She's not the one coming back for you! If I fall back down, you're gunna help me back up again, if I fall back down, you're gunna be my friend"
Yeah, Im waiting until 7pm... then picking Sabrina up from work. Then, I'll spend the rest of the night with Manny, show him the new song. Then come back home, and play PS2, while I shake my head, and call myself a loser nerd the whole time I'm playing it. "If I fall back down..."
