That subject title, is a line from Underoath, a song called "Alone In December" Thank you to Eddie for sharing something to cool! I have now fell in love with that band, just because of that one song.
Things have been pretty normal.
Monday, after taking Sabrina to work, I sat around, and played guitar until 4:50. I came up with some cool riffs, and finally came up with an idea for how the verse will be. All I needed were lyrics. 4:50 came by, and I left for work. Such a warm drive. I finally get there, and finding a seat, wasn't as hard as it usually is. So.. I worked.. and worked.. and like, the first hour was soooooo slow. I took my break at 7PM, and sat there, looking at the sky. It can be so pretty sometimes. Went back to work.
I think, I fell asleep at my desk for like, 30 minutes. Which, was cool.. but when I tried to do it again, I would wake up like.. 2-3 minutes later, and realize that time seemed to be going slower then it already was! It sucked!
What was kind of interesting.. was this one monitor (who monitors random peoples phone calls to see if their doing their job) came up to me. She remembered me before, because she monitored me, and gave me 100%. Like, she spent more time talking about, things that didn't really relate to my calling status.. instead, she looked at me kind of funny, then commented on my voice, which.. is.. normal I guess. But, she didn't tell me what other monitors have told me.. others have said "You have a very professional voice" but.. she said "your voice, it's very very pretty. Soothing to listen to" and she like, was resting her head on her fist, that was on her chin. Can you picture it? and then looked at my ID Number (which is G142) and was like "You've been working here for a long time, huh?" I was tryin' to think nothing of it, because certain people seem to think, that I think everyone hits on me... but from her body actions, it seemed like.. she ... was.. it was weird, thats all. Her name is Maria, I think she's.. in her like, late 20's.. maybe early 30's?
so ANYWAY...
it's like.. 8:40 something, and she comes over to my desk. She sits next to me, and like, asks me if I've been monitored already (that day) and I told her no. So, she takes the empty chair next to me (no one was working in that row, I was practically by myself) and she like, scoots up really close to me, and like... asks me "Where have you been? I haven't seen you in awhile" I told her like.. awhile ago, they cancled my shifts alot, but that was a long time ago. She's like "Well, what days do you work?" and I told her everyday except Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. She paused for a second, and then was like "You work on days that I have off..." then she like, scooted even CLOSER.. and gave me the paper, with a score of 100%.. (dont forget, I had been sleeping, NOT DOING MY JOB) so I told her "You treat me too nice" and she like, laughed. So, I signed it, and gave it to her. She got, up, put the chair back, and said "Come see me sometime" and then said bye. I couldn't help but think that Maria is on to me... what would you think!?!?
Anywayyyyyy.....9:30 hits, and I leave work. I told Cory and Roger, that I'd go kick it with them after work. But, I wanted to see Eddie, cuz I haven't gotten to hang out with him for a long time. So, I figured I would spend like 30 minutes with him, but the next thing you know, Jake-O, Deejay, Christian, Eddie, and I are all headed for Citywalk. By the time we were there, Jake-O and DeeJay decided not to go cuz of curfew, so we ate at In N Out. I got a 3x3, and I ate it like nothing! 6x6? yes! I will eat one, alone someday soon.
After that, it was back to Van Nuys, Jake-O went home, and Chris, Eddie, and Deejay got into my car, and we hung out in parking lots, and I watched them dance a bit. It was fun. Then, Eddie got in mad-man mode, picked up Deejay, and like, hurled him, (DeeJay is so small) so he like, fell REALLY hard on the ground. It was funny, but sucked at the same time. We went to Dennys, and this waiter like, gave us 1000 sodas. It was cool, but I felt bad cuz I couldn't drink all of them, and I was so full. Nice waiter! I think they left him a $3.56 tip.
DeeJay and I wanted to go to this abandoned bread factory, but Chris and Eddie got bad vibes, so we didn't, instead we went to Carl's Jr, and hung out in there for 2 hours, tellin' ghost stories. I went home after that, and that was that!
I feel like crap for ditching Cory and Roger, but... chances are, they would have wanted, or expected me to join in on their .. "fun" so, instead I had a clean fun night.
