So one of my friends has a blog (she has an lj too) and as on most blog she has a list of blogs that she likes. I've checked out most of them. (there are 2 that check out regularly) So last week I was looking through some of these blogs that I hadn't checked out before and i stumbled across one where the writer of the blog had just completed an 11 day diet. And lost 11 pounds! A pound a day, sign me up. So I got more info on it (from this blog) and decided to try it. I put on some weight over the summer and am having a hard time getting it off. I can do anything for 11 days, especially if I can drop weight like that. So today is day 1. Each day I will post here with the meals, and any recipes, for the day. But first:
1) You may eat your 4 daily meals in any order. So if mean 4 seems more breakfast-like than meal 1 you may eat it first.
2) You must eat all 4 meals on the day they are scheduled. This means you can't move a meal from day 4 to day 8.
3) You must wait at least 2 1/2 hours between meals.
4) For each mean you may eat any combination of the foods. You may eat all or just 1 of the foods listed. If there is a food one day that you really hate, you can substitute a food from a different meal that day; but only from that days meals.
5) You may drink the following beverages:any diet soda pop, iced tea with lemon, coffee (must have less than 10 calories per glass), water, any low calorie drink (less than 10 calories per glass). These drinks may be consumes as often as you like each day, with no limit.
6) You must drink at least 8 - 8 oz. glasses of water per day and they must be spaced out throughout the day.
7) These condiments may be used on any meal: lemon juice, ketchup, mustard, barbecue sauce, salsa, salt, pepper.
8) There is no limit on portions. You should eat until you feel satisfied but never stuff yourself full.
9) You follow the 11 day menu for 11 days, then you may take 3 cheat days where you can eat anything you want. After this 3 day period you can either follow this menu or get a new one at www.fatloss4idiots.com. This site has a cost (I have no clue what it is)
Day 1 Menu-
Meal 1: cashews, cottage cheese, banana milkshake (in a blender mix 1 frozen banana, 4-8oz. nonfat milk, 2-3tsp. vanilla, splenda for sweetener)
Meal 2: scrambled eggs, lowfat milk
Meal 3: turkey slices, ham slices, fresh grapefruit
Meal 4: walnuts, pastrami slices, garden salad.
