I figured it was probably THG fic, though you being biological oceanography just made me go \o/

I've been gleefully making my way through your Haymitch fic.

Dear God, you poor thing. Working your way through my epic ramblings?

Also, I'm really pleased that I'm not the only one who thinks of THG and Mumford & Sons as very complementary.

Oh, you aren't kidding there. So many of their songs just make me go "....Hunger Games."

I bet we could swap some epic stories! Are you still in the marine science world post-grad school?

I worked Alaskan fishing boats between undergrad and grad school as a fisheries observer and I worked on the BP oil spill postgrad, so I've got some stories.

Currently I'm with Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries, so yep, still in marine sci, though I've got an interview with NMFS this week for a job that might work.

Oh man, tell me about it. I should just take my notes and sprinkle them liberally around comment-fic memes.

You should. Considering mine would amount to something like "Tigger sat in this same 50m patch for three months and Starbuck was detected there starting on April 5th". Winter flounder do not exactly have much to see in the way of movements on a short temporal scale. XD
