(no subject)
yesterday i went to mass. how i forget how good it makes
me feel to go back. lent has begun and i found myself
sitting there admiring the huge painting of the crucifixtion,
wondering why ive have let things keep me away for the last
year. in mass focusing on John 3:1-17, how Jesus is trying to
explain the spirit to Nicodemus by using the wind
as a metaphor. (verse 8 to anyone who cares) i just think
that was a really neat verse, i really admired it. i thought
it was funny seen how my favorite verse is found in John also.
i also hung out with jazmine and we shopped all day! i bought
a really nice puma hoodie and a calvin klein thermal lookin' shirt.
we went to her brand new house, and it was beautiful. we ended
up watching national treasure, and it was pretty funny. then i
visited rae for the first time in, how long??? years? it was
really good to see her sweet little face again, and her mothers =)
today i finally finished painting two walls of my room, a job
i never finished when i started just before the breakup, which
has been four months! boy, time sure flies.
tonight i hung out with paul and we ate dinner with my sister
at her boyfriend. later he took me to see his new house out
in blue diamond. it was really nice. im so happy for him!
(everyone and their new houses! im jealous! j/k ) then we
watched The Untouchables. damn that movie is great. and boy
does Sean Connery, Kevin Costner and most of all Andy Garcia
look goooood!!! okay okay, besides that, ive always loved Elliot
Ness. well, this weekend was pretty good.. yes indeed.
