teacher--leave those kids alone [OPEN POST]

Since school went back in August, things have been mostly same-old-same-old around St Jude's--which is to say educational, religious, and full of Bornpang's inexplicable announcements. On Monday 15th, however, as all the students will be aware, is a school fair day. The art club has acquired space to paint, the drama club is putting on a few scenes ( Read more... )

Wanda isn't really preoccupied with any booth in particular, but she does settle down on top of an empty cafeteria table (yes, on), legs hanging over the side, palms balanced behind her, to observe the proceedings. She also takes a moment to fix her socks, which are thigh-highs and therefore almost constantly annoying her.

She's mentally debating what she wants to try out for and join that year. If she works, she'll only have room for a few things...being eighteen is still a bit surreal, honestly.

Tony has some recommendations! (Wanda should under no circumstances take any of them.) First, he is going to take a second to enjoy the sock-fixing - and if there is any kind of benevolent god, Pietro is somewhere else this period - but even things as pretty as this can only last so long, ergo he slides down the table to sit illegally close (hello teachers, please break this up immediately!) and blast the female Maximoff of the species with his beaming beamery.

"Go out for lacrosse." ....:D? The stick related innuendo of your choice goes here. "I'll wave little pompoms at your games, I'm sure Pepper can find me some."

Good morning, Wanda!

Wanda gives Tony a sidelong look that's fond and not a little amused. She also in no way protests the close proximity, to the surprise of absolutely no one. "The problem there," she tells Tony, deadpan, "is that I was going to try out for cheerleading, and I'm honestly not sure there's room enough for the two of us on the squad."

Tony manages to put his hands up in a gesture of surrender (haha) without moving back at all; the odds are approximately 76 million percent that the countdown to forcible separation by authority figure is pretty much on, so really, he'll take what he can get. And then some! It is the way of Tony Starks everywhere. "Far be it from me to stand in the way of your dreams."

Pause. "Or your uniform."

Wanda laughs, turning her face in toward his shoulder, which is really not helping the imminent teacherly scolding, but she'll probably bring that up shortly all on her own. "You are so encouraging," she says, smiling, "You know we're going to get the evil eye in a minute here, though? PDA rules."

Although this isn't really PDA, in her opinion, but it's borderline.

"Live dangerously," suggests the boy whose every risk has always in the past been supported by giant net made of cash, and reaches in to peck her on the nose.

OH WHAT NOW.
