The sleek, modern sterility of the hospital is probably welcome, after the experience preceding it. Nurses and doctors bustle about, performing triage and seeing to the more seriously injured students and calling parents... all those medical sorts of things.
But a hospital is a hospital, long waiting interspersed with quick bursts of activity (or paperwork). And for the most part, the young men and women who were at the Prospective Student Day festival are left on their own -- to converse, to reassure each other... or just to be freaked the hell out at what they've just been through.
