Alex, Alison, Ben, Sam, Sarah

You wake up on the floor with a pounding headache and the sensation of knowing time has passed, like having slept through a long car or plane ride. For some of the population of the school this may be what normally happens on a Saturday evening, but there are several factors to consider here.

1. This is definitely not the Pavilion.

2. Getting up ( Read more... )

Allison is busy trying to pull herself together after...whatever just happened. She doesn't like the sudden utter lack of control or the implied loss of time, nor the headache that accompanies them.

Her mouth gapes when she looks around, which she can't do for long, and instead closes her eyes to try and get her bearings. First she looks for people she knows but her heart sinks straight away because where is Alex?

She makes tiny fists and starts rooting around in her purse, which is suddenly devoid of all that crazy stuff her aunt stuck in there that Allison never thought she'd need. "Fuck," she mutters eloquently. "Who is here right this very second aside from Ben and Ben get over here now." This is not up for discussion. She's not sure but she thinks she might see Sam as well. "Hell, group, now, because the is helluv weird and bullshit and AUGH." Someone...does not handle things well.

Ben wakes up and rolls over with a groan and a shudder, blinking his eyes open-- and then closing them immediately for a good few seconds, until he hears Allison say his name. "What-- what, yeah, I'm here." He sits up before trying to open his eyes again, though it takes him a good several seconds to find his feet and then Allison and make his way over towards her. "What is this, the funhouse?"

Sam keeps perfectly still for a short, short while. His head is pounding, and the tilts and stretches and the colors...certainly not helping at all. After a few moments that feel like they take forever, he sits up. Just in time for that handy little announcement. "Well, that's...that's just great. I'm here. Sam. Here."

He is, it seems, here!

Sarah doesn't know any of these people, and she doesn't say anything at first, glaring up at the dizzying hallway for just a second. The spatial dimensions are really going to drive her nuts, for one thing. When she turns back to the group, she seems to be coming to a conclusion.

"Who did they take?"

This can't actually be real. It's clearly some kind of elaborate fucking candid camera prank, and when she finds out who is responsible, she's going to break every bone in their face.

Allison is quietly taking stock. Okay. "So Sam, and Ben, and me. And. Chick I don't know but." She bites her lip. "If your name is Sarah this is going to suck because I can't find Alex. No...offense."

"And Alex, I swear to Christ, if this is a prank I'm going to hate you forever! And sometimes with a knife!" Shouting is really not good for anyone's headache, Allison, including your own. She cringes and puts a hand on her head.

"Bullshit, bullshit, bullshit." Cursing isn't helping either, Allison. "My purse is mysteriously empty to go along with the whole headache, lost time, put in a fucked up room thing, that go for anybody else?" Because finding useful things would be good. LITTLE DOES SHE KNOW.

Ben leans on Allison a bit, because she seems to need the reassurance-- not that he's actually any calmer, he just seems calmer when he's pissed off about people kidnapping his friends. "My stuff's gone too," he says shakily, patting down his shoulder bag, and looks over at Sam and Sarah for confirmation. "And, yeah. Alex."

Sam checks as well, sliding over to lean against one of those angled walls. It doesn't help at all. "Yeah, mine too." Not that he had much with him to begin with. "So. What the hell."

It's a fairly appropriate reaction, he thinks.

Sarah's eyebrows go up at the shouting, but she's thinking now (calculating, scheming, as she usually is). This room is, to put it bluntly, pretty much awful, and she doesn't think it's helping matters, so. "I didn't have anything to begin with, except money," she murmurs, glancing down the hallway, "But if your friend is missing we should go look for him."

She starts toward the door at the end of the hall, not once glancing back over her shoulder.

...HELLO the new girl is clearly Captain Friendly of the U.S.S. Emotionally Demonstrative. Except for how she's totally not. She is pretty concerned, though, she's just prioritizing getting out of that room before they start planning. There has to be somewhere out here that's less obnoxious-looking. Additionally, she's being pretty wary about it, testing the door before she puts her hand on the knob.

FISH POND andsocanyou June 17 2008, 06:58:59 UTC
Sarah gets bonus points for thinking through enough to check the door, considering Allison, once she noticed it, would have just pushed through. She follows after the other girl about as quickly as her slightly off balanced self can manage while dragging a Ben by the wrist who is surely also slightly off balance.

"Alex and a key, if the chatterbox southern man is to be trusted. Which he's probably not." Allison screws up her face, squeezing Ben's wrist. "We have to find him though." She sounds serious and a little desperate.

The fish pond beyond the door makes her arch a brow in a "are you kidding me?" manner and she looks at their group grimly. "Anyone wanna go fishin'?" she asks, hitching a thumb at the murky pond.
