We are all connected
Today, I was talking with an older lady at church who I've seen around a lot but never really had a conversation with, and she started talking about her daughter who was hit by a drunk driver 8 years ago in August, in Cedar Rapids, and I remembered hearing about that because it was August when I was pregnant with Vlad and she was pregnant and they couldn't save her but they saved her baby, and I remember my heart just going out to that family, and wondering many times since how they were doing.
