How Many Times Does This Happen?

I got locked out of my house the other day. Don't really know how that happened. When telling this story to Ashleigh, she made the good point that my mom seems to remember everything, so it's strange when they seemed to forget I wasn't home. I went to Best Buy to look at something, and then went to Mike's house (a friend) for a few hours. Well, when I came home at about 1:30am, the door was locked. I have a key for both front and back doors, but there are screen doors outside of those that can only be unlocked from inside. Well, that door was locked. I could see no one was awake, so just so I can show them how dumb they are, I called the house so they'd let me in. After no one picked up, I went to the back door, but that one was locked as well. So now I realize I'm locked out completely.
So right about then, I call the house again. And then again, and no one is picking up. I'm getting kind of upset by this because there is a phone right next to my parents' bed, and the fact they aren't waking up to it ringing right next to their heads, got be wondering what's going on. I tried calling my mom's cell phone, but figured she wouldn't get that since she normally leaves it on the charger downstairs.
I called a few more times and finally my sister picked up and sounded upset that I kept calling, and then hung up on me after I told her I was locked out. Then she gave me some attitude when letting me in. I mean, I'm sorry I woke you up, but I can't even get into my own house.
It was later I found out that on top of being locked out, there was a murderer spotted a couple miles away from where I was earlier that night. So who knows. Although that could have been part of the reason they locked the doors, it's not reason enough to forget they have two sons, not just one. The joys of being the middle child! :P
