For the last 6 weeks or so, I haven't been able to sleep. When I say that, I don't mean that I've been awake nonstop since then; I just mean that going to bed each night is a struggle to get comfortable and relax, and that I wake up the next morning feeling as though I haven't slept at all. I am now used to living with gritty eyes. Not my favorite thing, let me tell you.
I have no doubt that this is contributing to aggravating my permanent headache, the one I've had nonstop since 1995. The headache has been acting up for the past 3-4 days, to the point that I took 10 Aleve in fewer than 48 hours. Don't worry, it's within my prescription dosage only I'm using OTC pills.
It's 6:30am and I've been up since yesterday morning at 8:15ish with only an hour and a half nap since then. I feel tired - I have felt tired for weeks - but sleep eludes me.
Since I can't sleep, I've been spending some quality time with my Tauren buddy (and my Troll friend, too) on World of Warcraft. I purchased a new laptop on Memorial Day and have been enjoying the convenience of using the internet and playing WoW from my own house and, if I'm being really lazy, from my own bed. My characters are now levels 49 and 28, if anyone cares - not counting my bank alt.
I really don't know what to do about this sleep issue. Some friends have suggested I take Benadryl before bed to knock me out. Honestly, a few more days like this and I may actually do that!
Good night... er, morning?... everyone!
