eeep.
we're going to japan in 7 days. eeeep! this time next week we'll be on the plane.
we've got our itinerary all sorted:
tokyo > osaka > fukuoka > hiroshima > kyoto > takayama > nagano > tokyo
we'll be there for 3 weeks which sounds like a really long time, but it will fly by so fast.
we're seeing a sumo tournament in fukuoka, and staying in a ryokan in takayama (and hanging out with the snow monkeys), and going to the zoo in kyoto and the ghibli museum in tokyo and it's all going to be so amazing.
my 5 year old kimono self thinks so too.
all our accommodation is booked (except for the last 2 nights in tokyo which we'll sort out when we get there) and we've got our rail passes and i'm basically completely packed and ready to go.
i'm usually never this organised. like, ever. but it feels really good to be prepared and ready for it all. plus i'm just so, so excited.
