we had a major oh&s audit on our floor at work today, which i was responsible for making sure we passed. the repercussions of failing would have been huge, and include (but are not limited to): being yelled at by my state manager, and losing our self-insurers licence. it's been a lot of work and effort and documentation and hiding boxes in cupboards, but i can happily say that we passed with flying colours. however, there's some sort of bittersweet irony in that i've now hurt my right arm due to moving so many boxes around this morning. it was also a great joy to walk into work this morning and find an email telling me that the wall in the female toilet had collapsed, and landed on a girl. mid-pee. thankfully, i was able to keep the auditor out of the bathrooms.
