SOUL CAMPAIGN
Greed/Roy: And he can’t help but notice that whenever they get unto their favorite subject, there’s a particular light in that one good eye and a peculiar slack to his mouth that makes Greed think of the oddest, loveliest things.
Mukuro/Joshua: It started with slipping drugs into Rhode’s pineapple tarts and ended with *both* of them on the couch, making out to her soft snoring right beside them.
Izaya/Mukuro: “I must say,” Mukuro says, with his usual eyebrow arch and crooked little smirk from where he’s on the floor, staring up at Izaya’s fine leg and the foot against his throat, “this skirt truly suits you.”
Byakuran/Mukuro: This is how they should be: Byakuran, sitting, hand outstretched; Mukuro, kneeling, licking up the remnants of powdered sugar from those tapered, white fingers.
Minato/Naoto: It occurred to him to tell her that he really *did* like her hat, and it occurred to her to tell him that she really did like those earphones, but really: kissing just seemed like a much, MUCH better idea on both their accounts.
THE SKYTIDES
Roy Mustang and a harem: “…Now, now, there’s more than enough for everyone,” he says with a smile, as he undoes the first button of his shirt.
Roy & Rou: And it’ infuriating and annoying and one hell of a turn on, how he can always taste his brand of cigarettes on his brother’s tongue after they’ve fucked.
Hibari/Nena: And it’s in every blow and harsh word, in the memory of the precise number of steps she needs in order to close the distance between them in battle and the weight and feel of his grip/his gaze, that Nena becomes aware of how, in spite of everything, in spite of all that they do not say, they are two halves of a whole, past and present reflecting, and the not-so-subtle prospect of a new beginning.
Roy & Susan: Susan Sto-Helit was quite confident that she had the proper words with which to address the situation. And then Lieutenant Commander Mustang divested himself of his shirt.
Hibari/Chrome: Upsetting, really, how all Nagi has to do is smile just so/lift her eyes just right/touch but the sleeve of his shirt to make him forget about everything else.
Hibari/Olivier: She could tell him, perhaps, that he reminds her of someone - someone she trusted once, someone whom she might have been willing to take a chance with before a single word on his part and a killer smile destroyed her world. A cigarette later makes her decide that he’s better off not knowing.
