i should lose some weight before then though.
my dress will look better.
ive been eating everything in sight lately.
whoops.
so i almost got a puppy this weekend.
heres the story:
after church on sunday we went back to johns and about a half hour later his parents get home and tell us about this house where there were a bunch of shar-pei puppies along the fence that were for sale. so john being big shar-pei fan, and me being a fan of any puppy, hop in his car and drive to this house/farm in snohomish. we pull up and meet these four puppies; three short-hair, one long hair. well when the long haired one waddled around the corner my mouth just hit the floor. omgosh. it was the cutest dog i have ever seen in my entire life. it looked like a baby lion. so john and i played with the puppies for a half hour or so talking to the gal who was breeding them. john turns to me and says hey-we should go get your mom and surprise her...maybe she'll get one cuz grande (one of my two other dogs) isnt going to be around much longer...etc etc. so we call my mom, go pick her up, and come back. well...two or three hours later we had a deal that we could keep the baby lion over night to see if it was the right fit or not. turns out i got attached to her really fast. we were the perfect match. and she was almost potty trained by morning, and she kept to herself and was the perfect puppy. we named her Bear. and she had an eye infection. im afraid the owner who finally gets her wont take as good of care of her as she deserves. i honestly loved her already. we were total pals. i cried like three times today...oh yeah and last night too. she slept on my chest for half the night. the cutest dog ive ever seen in my entire life. i will have a long haired shar-pei when im older. oh yeah and since the breeder wanted to get rid of the girls she was going for $300...THAT IS INCREDIBLE! they go for around $2,500.
i miss Bear... :(
but i love
my boyfriend
and my friends
and my girls
and soccer.
so somehow all of that makes the bad things ok.
and my puppy WILL be a baby lion named Bear with five million wrinkles.
