Beginners help!
I'm stuck... I've just started tatting and I am now fairly happy with double stitch and getting picots vaguely even, but I can't work out how to tighten up the second/third etc motif.
I'm aiming for the picture on the right closest to the bottom, but tugging on the thread coming out of the shuttle doesn't work. The only thing I can get to move is the thread on the far left, but it doesn't seem sensible to have to shift the first motif and (eventually) everything that comes after it to adjust the latest section.
Any suggestions?
