I may have found a book!!

Thank you for the warm welcome! I ordered a book called Easy tatting says that it has some good things for beginners ( me). I went and looked at Borders one of our major booksellers and checked out half priced books, because sometimes they will have things in the craft section that you can’t find anywhere. Well that was a bummer L
But I am also trying the pattern from Jen’s site, but in #10 cotton, again I ran into the running out of thread thing, I guess I will just make several and then put them together. I would like to use it to edge a tunic I am planning on sewing. After I sew a purse, nothing fancy, simple square bag with outer pockets and I made a macramé cord for the strap ( I have just returned to sewing after about 20 years! I am normally a painter and beading kind of gal) but I found a awesome Japanese print that begs to be a purse.
Once I find my camera I will post pictures of my projects, but PLEASE don’t laugh at the tatting LOL!
