Wish That I Could Write
Do you have ANY idea how frustrating it is to have REALLY good ideas for fanfics but lack the ability to write it? I mean, I can write outlines and plot summaries until I'm blue in the face, but to actually transform that into story form for me is like finding a needle in a haystack. Could someone PLEASE share the secret?
I've gotten some great feedback about writing and getting down to it. But I think I need to rephrase my statement.
My BRAIN doesn't want to allow me to get past a vague idea or outline. It's like nothing else comes. You know when your computer freezes and you keep hitting keys and reboot it but nothing seems to help? That is exactly what happens to my brain when I try to get past the "idea" phase of writing. And OH how I suck at writing dialogue. But that problem is just one drop of water in the bucket.
