Happy New Year to All
It is that time again, time to ring out the old and new. It has been an eventful year for me as it has been for many of my friends. I can't say that I'll be sad to see this year end though. I am hoping and praying that all the heartache of 2002 gets washed away in a river of champagne or something. Please, may everyone have a much better 2003.
I don't do resolutions, so you won't see me saying one. There are changes I need to make, but they will come in time. I'm still working on some of them, like sticking up for myself, not being such a pushover, things like that.
I have had a couple of wonderful conversations with someone who is incredibly dear to me, and have great hopes for that. I'm feeling a certain peace about all of that, which is such a comfort.
My vacation with my daughter was a pure delight. She is so fantastically adorable, you cannot imagine. Elvish, pixie-like, and utterly charming, she lights up a room with her smiles. *blows Jessi kisses* I love you, my girl, and always, always will.
I have heard some from Alisha. I do hope she is doing all right and that she knows there are those of us that care. Miss you lots and lots sweetie.
My son.... ohhhhh Chris, your friendship means the absolute world to me, and I don't want to hear "nonsense" from you about that! You are teaching me how to lean, and how to trust, and how to receive as well as give. Bless you, I'd be hopelessly lost without you.
