very brief update just to get the word out

Dad was admitted to the hospital last night. Double pneumonia. There is one good thing though, while he's there they are going to go over him with a "fine toothed comb" and see if they can find out what the hell is going on with the swelling of his tongue and throat, and anything else that is bothering him.

600 miles has never felt so much more like being on another planet. Not sure yet if I'm going down or what. Will try to keep things updated.
