Much better now. I wasn't going to go out, but finally decided I just had to get out of the house for even a tiny bit. I feel much better now, though I will hate getting up early. But, needs must, eh? At least no bus in the morning. J will be taking me into work since I need to go by the grocery and pick up some 'healthy snacks' for this absurd farce we call "Public Servant Appreciation Week". As I told Chris earlier, it's so phony. They treat us horribly all year, then simply because it is this month, the management goes around all smiley-happy and gives us an extra 30 mins for lunch one day and has drawings for goodness knows what sort of prizes. Last prize I won was a pine scented air freshener and one of those metal puzzle thingies. Ugh, what morons. If they would just treat us decently year round, then this sort of thing wouldn't seem so ridiculous. Ah well, should make the most of it I suppose. After all, they are 'doing lunch' for us on Thursday (I really hope it's not pizza, but if it is, at least they do get veggie ones!).

I do like my job, really I do. It's just the people.
