"Bucky" tonight's Jack-O'Lantern. There is a steady drizzle in Stirling that is supposed to stop by mid-afternoon. Usually, I get about 200 children at my house. That number may be down this year.
The village of Stirling came through Hurricane Sandy with only two minor power interruptions, However, the surrounding farms experience extended outages. My trees survived and, as far as I can tell, so did the trees in Stirling village. Most of the deciduous trees had already dropped their leaves so there was less for the winds to push against.
