Christmas Lights
I drove to Trenton on Sunday evening. I passed a house on the way all lit up with Christmas lights. While I expect retailers to be venal about this, I expect a little more restraint from people.
I was raised as a Protestant Christian although I no longer consider myself to be a believer in the supernatural. But I still inherited some Christmas tradition from my mother. First Christmas lights, beginning of Advent (Nov. 27). Lights and decorations come down on the Twelfth Day of Christmas (Twelfth Night, Epiphany), I noticed that last year, every house in Stirling doused their Christmas lights on Jan. 6.
