I decided that with the new semester, I'm going to make a conscious effort to update my LJ. Journals are supposed to be therapeutic and help you get organized right?
I'm trying to get my life organized for this summer when I come back to WA... I really want a cool internship of some sort, but I'm reluctant to apply for ones that are going to look at my science grades (which werent that bad, but a B in bio does not look good as my only sci class). I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet... but the search is on. I'd like to research with someone at UW, but I just dont know. I decided on two internships I'm going to apply for that are due in March and there could be more. Its frustrating, because I'd love to stay down here, take my anatomy shiite... research in the afternoons and live in FL for the summer, but I definitely do not have the money for living (let alone tuition). Thus... back home it is.
I talked to my mom about moving off-campus next year, and she's being awfully stubborn about it. Given that they're paying a fixed amount for school, and I have to cover the rest... I think its valid to want to try to save money, since its coming out of MY pocket. I'm going to keep working on her.
We got new shoes from rowing... they're oh so sexy. Yay for Nike issued gear! Depending on how this spring season goes... I'm not coming back for next year. I think I'd rather be a typical college student.
Valentines Day sucks. I have no valentine. Hah WOW i need to go to bed... practice in less than 2 hours.
Question: what song should I analyze for english?! Post-1956, any genre, looking at the song from a musical and lyrical perspective (no background info!)
