... but she got me out of class for 2 days. And possibly more?
As of 6pm - we go into complete lockdown (no stairs/elevators)...we have to stay on our floors until the storm passes. This could mean 17 hours?? But she's starting to slow down, so who knows how long we'll be on our floors. Something shitty is that people from the top floors are coming down to the bottom ones, so floor 11 will be living in our HALLWAYS. I was going to invite some girls to stay in my room, but i dont think that is going to work out.
Dont worry though - the dorms i'm in are very safe! We have hurricane shutters and they're made out of concrete. One of the safest places to be in South Florida - if not the safest!
Hopefully she doesnt turn when she hits land and go south... bc then we'll be in the eye. And thats not cool. But nothing terrible happened when Andrew hit... so im not scared yet. ahhh wish me luck!
