By the way, I am home.
I got back the night before last (or really the morning, since it was about 12:30 by the time I got home). I am obviously till on Massachusetts time, as I was awake at 7:30 this morning and exhausted by 9 last night (though that was partly due to having gotten up at 7 to finish packing the day before and 6 to see the Dalai Lama the day before that). I have, however, consumed 5 fish tacos since getting back to California (two from the Del Taco drive through on the way back from the airport and three from Baja Fresh with Kellye's family last night) and they were all delicious. Also, Von's soup and chocolate covered strawberries. I am so excited to be back in the middle of strawberry season.
The Dalai Lama was pretty awesome. He's such an adorable little old man. And funny. Though I have to wonder about the people who submitted the questions about parenting and global warming. Seriously, how would he know? Enlightened, or not, he's just a man, and one that's never had kids. Points to him for making the answers to those questions funny, too, though. He's way cool.
My mom is hosting a tea this afternoon. I'm wearing a skirt, but my legs are kind of fuzzy. Eh, whatever.
