It's been disgustingly muggy all day, and now it's finally raining.

Yesterday, when Carrie and I were sitting arround, she brought of the subject of hugs. It'd been such a long time since either of us had been hugged. There just aren't really people here that we felt we knew well enough for that kind of physical contact. It reminds me of the comment Flounce made about missing physical imtimacy while she was basicaly on top of Scully (in a platonic way...) one night at camp. Then I left for a debate meeting (tournament here at Smith this weekend!) and stopped to talk to Hira on the way. I didn't tell her about the conversation I'd just had, but still, she gave me a hug. I miss people.

Three weekends form now is autumn recess. Yay Dartmouth! (Or as my French professor says, "Ouais!" Elle est très amusante.)
