(no subject)
Not a brilliant new years this year. I wanted a massive night out, I wanted loads of people, I wanted to meet people, i wanted to get wasted. Didn't happen at all. Nobody was in liverpool at all, so I spent it at the academy instead with Olly. Got a few beers in early and took them to the academy. Ended up drinking with Jamie for a lot of it and teaching him how to do lights :-/ Luckily I had drunk enough to be tipsy so I was fairly content. It was just a bit of a boring way to spend the night.
Today has been really unbelievably boring. As I mentioned, nobody is up in Liverpool yet, and olly has driven back home. So I spent pretty much the whole day lying on the sofa eating pringles and watching 24, and that got boring. You know it's bad when you find tv boring. Nobody is back up til next week, so I have the next few days like this. Cant even get out anywhere on my own because I have no money and am strongly holding out til student loan. As soon as that comes through I'm gonna do a trip to the zoo, and maybe see what else I can get away to. As far as i am aware I have no uni deadlines til the 19th, and I only have monday mornings at LIPA (starting the 12th), and I have no shifts of work for this month yet, so it's gonna be very quiet. I'm pushing myself now to sort out accommodation for July and also to find work opportunities. There are several companies I wanna contact in London that deal with tour work.
Talking last night about new years resolutions, and as I have mentioned previously mine is just to say yes more and be more positive. Olly (and everyone else) have all said they've seen a massive change in me these last few months in not only going out more and saying yes, but even the way I compose myself is just a lot more positive.
I'm scared shitless at the moment that my flat is about to collapse. I think the flat above has some kind of leak because in the bathroom (presumably below the bathroom above) the walls are really damp and there is a puddle of water, and similarly on the otherside of the wall which is my kitchen. I didn't really think about it the first day, just mopped the water up, but when I woke up this morning the puddles of water were both there again. Need to contact the landlord but theres nobody in the office because it is new years. So I'm praying the whole place isnt gonna collapse!
Living on your own is SOOOOO boring, especially when none of your friends are even in the same city.
