Two things have surprised me. The first is that reel big fish are playing in academy 2 when they are in Liverpool (thats the smaller 500 capacity venue). So doesn't look like they have sold that well. Its bad news because it means they are fitting them onto a very tiny stage with me at the side. Shows that they arent as big as they once were. The good news however is that Joshua Radin is playing in March. Yes thats right :-) I checked his website about a week ago to see if he was gonna do any UK shows and he wasnt. Checked who the academy have booked for next year, and it looks like he's playing. Only four UK dates and one of them is my venue! That makes me very happy, there's only two people that I would rather do sound for, one is jack johnson, the other is jason mraz. Cannot wait though, nobody has heard of him so i have a feeling it will be a disappointment but it will be a great gig. Hes such an awesome artist.
Getting bored at home now. Went to the beach today and had a pasty :-) I am dreading going home as it will remind me I do in fact have quite a bit of work to do, but on the other hand it will be nice to get back to MY home :-)
