this game was like basketball...only the players could only use their elbows and hips to get the ball into the verticle "hoop". there seems to be conflicting stories on the death part. some scholars say that the losing teams captain was sacrificed. others say the winning teams captain was sacrificed. i think there have been references to both cases in whatever ancient texts or glyphs were studied.
