My coworker is a sweetheart and volunteered to give me 2 French lessons a week for the next 4 weeks before my trip. He tutors business people in French on the side, so he’s got skillz. In turn I will buy him cocktails.
I currently know more Filipino, Italian, Hebrew, Samoan and Cantonese than I know French. I can at least order rice and a variety of veggies in Cantonese and count to ten in Samoan. I can do nothing comparable in French.
