Germany Pictures Post #3
Ok, here is post #3 of my Germany pics. This time I have pictures from Hamburg and Frankfurt. Check out the Reeperbahn pics!
Hamburg
We visited the Holsten Brewery, which is the largest brewery in Germany. They showed us how they mass-produce beer, but the best part was at the end when we got to go to the company bar and 'sample'. They give you beer after beer after beer until you can't drink anymore. We all left pretty drunk. This is Dr. Bankston lecturing us outside the brewery.
The next two pictures are of some machines inside the brewery. I want to say they were used for fermentation.
This picture is inside the factory. After the beer is made, this is where they bottle and package it.
The next two pictures are of the Hamburg harbor. This area of Hamburg was fairly industrial with a lot of factories and fish marts.

Ahhh....here Joanna and I are at the Hamburg Reeperbahn (or the red light district). The streets are packed with dirty sex shops and strip clubs, not to mention a bunch of prostitutes (and its actually legal).

Of course we went out to several bars and a strip club on the Reeperbahn. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of the strip club, but I did take some pics in the bars. Here is Gilbert drinking a beer.

This is the Euro emblem that stands outside the European Central Bank, which we also got to tour.
The next two pictures are of the Deutsche Boerse Group, or the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
This is an anti gay violence poster they had hanging in the lobby of our hostel.
