Life's pretty relative, you know?
On one hand, I'm working more than I did at City Year, and am about as poor. 11 hour work days and I...we have a rough past. But on the other hand, these 11 hour work days aren't composed of digging holes with people that don't share a common language with me.
Instead, I get to work at NPR (which is gradually getting more comfortable and interesting), and Northstar (which is generally staying acceptable). Neither require me to dig ditches. I don't see my friends as much as I used to (every day), which sort of sucks. But the people I work with at Northstar, where I spend most of my time, are pretty cool. They let me sing and swear and I enjoy their company.
BUT RIGHT NOW I AM SICK AND AM PROFOUNDLY UNCOMFORTABLE. Groggy, loagy, muggy, fuggy, sluggy...these are all words with varying existence that describe how I feel right now. And I work 8 cafe hours tonight. And tomorrow. Last night varied between really mild dizziness and utter delirium.
