a begging giffie to a parrot

It’s back to school mode tomorrow. After two weeks of experiencing heavy rains, strong winds, and waist-level floods (or whatever part of the body), classes are back to normal once more. Well, at least for the “normal” students who go to school five times a week, classes resumed last monday compared to a student like me who only attends classes thrice a week(that’s our schedule this semester), school will recommence tomorrow…at 9:00 A.M.!

Of course, suspension of classes is something worth-celebrating, if not very much anticipated every time a single raindrop falls on the ground, for students like me. In my case for example, the scheduled preliminary examination in our taxation class(which required us to read I think ten or less cases, aside from reading the first 50 pages of Hector De Leon’s book) was postponed and luckily, the postponement will give me time to study again(that is, if laziness won’t struck me hahaha). The submission of our prelim story in our specialized writing class was due next Friday instead of tomorrow. See?hehehe talking about “blessing in disguise?”

And of course, the two-week vacation(and I really used the word vacation hahaha!) allowed me to sleeeeeeeep and just bum around. Yes, for two weeks, I’ve been unproductive, and though it feels good to just enjoy doing nothing, the fact is, so much time has been wasted already. And because of that, cramming in studying or accomplishing a deadline is very predictable. Well, that’s how a student lives-enjoy first then cram afterwards. Hahaha

still uncertain if I’ll get the “blessing” of mommy to attend the acquaintance party in Pasay city (bakit kasi sa Pasay pa!). I earlier told her I wouldn’t go. Actually, even if I’m not really into those social gathering stuffs, I really really want to go there. As most of my friends and classmates said, Last year na naten ito . Seems like this last year na naten ito stuff has been haunting each senior in the batch. The reason behind why I told my mother that I wouldn’t go is because I already KNOW the answer-it’s a NO!

NO.NO.NO.NO….

NO because no one will fetch me anymore unlike the previous acquaintance parties I’ve attended. Daddy’s already out of the country since April and mommy’s driving is a C-satisfactory, that is. So I don’t know what the hell will happen to me. I’m pretty sure that if only someone will fetch me and bring me home, there would be no problem.

Over-night stay? How I wish my mom is open to that idea. Sadly, she isn’t.

Yes, the dilemma is: to go or not to go...bow
