why do people make their being "single" a big deal especially on valentine's day?just asking...
is it because they feel so bad that they think they're unloved????just asking again...=)

i WAS and AM NOT bitter every valentine's day-THAT'S FOR SURE=) all those years that i've spent being a single and "immaculate"(arcega,2k6)person (hehehehe), never did i rant of not having my so-called "valentine". perhaps, that's what you get for not being a hopeless romantic afterall, which i think works to my advantage as evidenced by the number of years that i "survived" without a date every 14th of february but my family alone.i'm not like those people who complained on having no date for that supposedly "love day" nor cursed those couples who are sooooooooo sweet on that day.i'm not like that.actually, i sometimes found myself smiling while murmuring "ang corny naman nila" (referring to their "mushiness")but i know deep inside there's this little "kilig factor" that i felt for the two of them that i simply can't deny because MAYBE, that's how love works, no matter how corny it is in the eyes of the public, it's how love works for the two people who are truly in love.

had dinner with my family last night as usual.i was quite excited upon seeing a tiny bear sitting in one of the wooden chairs in our sala ASSUMING that it is for me coming from who else but my little brother, rap.although rap can be irritating most of the time, he's definitely the sweetest person in our family.however, i was DEVASTATED when i found out that the supposed bear meant for me was given to a neighbor of mine by my kapatid WAHAHAHAHAHA revelation ito!i never thought that this year, my brother will give his attention to a neighbor nyahahahha as for me,hahahahahaha ang joke time ko tlaga potek!i didn't see that one coming tlaga hehehe so much for being the FEELINGERA and ASSUMERANG ATE that i am hehehe!

valentine's day is a special day for lovers (aside from their monthsary/ies or anniversary/ies) while the worst for those who are "singled out" hehehe however, i find it weird why people have to "sensationalize" this event.really, what's with that lovapalooza thing?ah yes, an "exhibition" of the different kisses in the whole universe-whatever!=) what's with the flower shops almost trippling the prices of their products in this day?ah yes, flowers are one of men's greatest execuses or "peace offerings" to their girls. what's with the restaurants being fully booked especially during that one special night?ah yes,as i quote a friend "may reason para lumabas unlike pag ordinary day".what's with the guys' overspending and being very gallant, generous, magnanimous (hehehe) creature for that night alone when he could do that everyday?what's with the guys asking girls to be their date for that day?ah yes, from the same friend that i quoted earlier, "para may satisfaction" whatever satisfaction it is hehehehe
in my point of view, valentine's is the perfect time to compensate on things. we tend to "neglect" people whom we dearly loved almost everyday and to lessen the guilt of doing so, valentine's is the best time to redeem one's self don't you agree?hehehe flowers, chocolates,a sumptuous dinner, expensive gifts, valentine greeting cards, love letters and sweet nothings always overflow on the 14th.for a change, why can't people do it on ordinary days more often di ba hehehehe it's just a suggestion=)
belated happy valentines day to all!=)
