What A Race!
i don't think anyone could have predicted that happening. Lewis losing it on the track, and Kimi winning the title!!!! w00h00, congrats Kimster! what a birthday present to himself. i was sat on the edge of my seat for most of the race.... wanting Lewis to come back, but when it wasn't going to happen i was pleased Kimi won, Alonso didn't deserve it. Pretty pointless race for Renault, Fisi out on lap 2, Heikki at the back and then he crashed out... *sigh* hopefully next year will be better *crosses fingers* the guys at ITV were getting my hopes up a wee bit... they said that there had been rumours that Jean Todt was stepping down as Ferrari boss, which could mean i get my way after all... *again crosses fingers*
so, its all over till March... what am i going to do to occupy myself? *sulks*
in other news... today was the last day of working with the gerkin!!!! w00h00000000!!! and again i have been running the shop... not bad for someone who is suppose to only be looking after all the houseplants eh? yesterday i got there early to cash up, gerkin wanted me there at half seven... ten past eight he turned up. i was freezing to death. seriously. then at dinnertime both managers left the premises (which they really shouldn't have done) and then Angie went out for her dinner, leaving me in charge of the damn shop. when i found out i was on my own i started crapping myself, what if something bad had happened? i'm not a manager. i kept expecting either the regional manager to walk in or for my boss to ring from Altrincham (or was that wishful thinking? :p) but neither happened and we got through it.
and the same kinda thing happened today, i was left to run the place while the gerkin and most of the other staff were faffing outside putting christmas into some kind of order in the tin boxes. i must really have "mug" tattooed on my forehead. anyways.... he's gone now, muhahahaha. its not that i don't like the guy... as a person he is nice guy, its just that i can't work with him as a manager. which is ok, AS I NO LONGER HAVE TO!!!!! will find out tomorrow whether Kevin in coming this week or next week. and i think Neil is in for a short while tomorrow... get a grip Stinibobs!! *sigh*
and so the countdown starts... 146 days to go till the 2008 F1 season starts *iz sad* :p
