I'm absolutely knackered with blisters and haven't eaten anything other than mini-wheat bagels all day. Would you believe I nearly missed the beginning of today's Full Rights For Immigrants rally? Haha, this is the reason why I didn't go to the one that started at MacArthur Park. Even if there were tamales for sale; I'm not willing to tempt fate. But it was really sad that the turnout was so low! 8,500* compared to the estimated 20,000*. Recent ICE raids were blamed, but who knows what the real reason might be. *LA Times figures
