[ A new energy source in section three. Maybe Lin was over-confident in her skills, or had decided to rely on luck too much, but she didn't want anyone to know where exactly she was going to meet with this person... Asuka, was it?

She didn't even ask how they looked, but there really was no need for that. She'd find them.

And yet, Lin was taken aback when she realized that all that energy came from that short, innocuous-looking girl.

Then again, she wasn't exactly a giant either. ]

[ Lin didn't answer, still analyzing the girl. Was there more than what met the eye? Hard to tell.

Her reiatsu felt vaguely familiar, though. But she wasn't able to tell whether they knew each other before, and whether they were allies or enemies. At the moment, Lin didn't feel any particular aversion or liking towards her.

That's when she attacked, a kick that was aiming to Asuka's head. Not particularly fast or strong, not particularly hard to dodge, either. ]

[ Asuka blinked, then rather sub-concisely dodged it. She herself didn't know she was capably of dodging such a fast attack. She took a quick step back, looking rather confused. ]

I’m… sorry? [ Still rather confused she smiled slightly awkwardly, maybe she didn’t like the fact that she got nearer? Or is some kind of greeting? She didn’t know, but whither it was she would forgive it if it had something close to good intentions.

But Lin might have noticed, no she was sure Lin would have noticed the fact her Reiatsu grew thinker when she was attacked, Asuka was surprised by that herself. ]

[ Lin studied her reaction, how quickly she could move, the increase in Asuka's reiatsu, the expression on her face. ]

It took her breath away, but just for a moment. After that, she was ready to try and grab Asuka's arm, and, if successful, twist it around to immobilize her. ]
